After more than thirty years of professional career, the Orquestra de Guitarres de Barcelona is the reference, on an international scale, in this kind of formations and one of the few orchestras in the world that performs its concerts entirely from memory.

The OGB covers all periods of classical music history.

A concert full of strength and precision, with a very special feeling with more than 20 guitars on stage and guest soloists.

  • THE ORCHESTRA

    More than 30 years ago, its founder and director Sergi Vicente began a pedagogical experience that, over time, became a great professional project, being a pioneer in its genre and consolidating itself as a reference for all later guitar orchestras.

    The years of professional experience support his career as a performer in all areas of classical music.

  • Aseel Massoud (soprano)

    Lyric soprano from Syria, she started singing traditional Syrian music from a very young age. He began vocal training under the tutelage of Arax Chikijian in 2009. He has lived in Barcelona since 2015 and finished his career at the professional conservatory with Meritxell Olaya, and at the Superior conservatory of Liceu 2023 with the great teacher Carmen Bustamante.

  • Olga Ponce (dance)

    Olga Ponce finished her professional dance studies at the Institut del Teatre de Barcelona in 1998 specializing in Spanish and Flamenco dance and, subsequently, in 2010 she graduated in Pedagogy for Dance at the same center. In this period of time and until today she has been a dancer in large companies performing in renowned theaters, Scenic Barcelona, Teatre Apol·lo, Teatre Victoria, Teatre Poliorama among others.

  • Olga Kobekina (key)

    Born in Russia in a family of musicians. He graduated from the Ural Mussorgsky Conservatory in 1997.

  • Ala Voronkova (violin)

    Winner of several international competitions, her love for the instrument forged the career of a child prodigy. He graduated from the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow with the legendary Yuri Yankelevich, later completing his doctorate at the Gniesini Institute with Nelly Shkolnikova.
